In early January 2012 the ORL started with an 8 race season including 6 regular drivers, and 10 or so guest drivers who would race from time to time. As we prepare for the 6th season of ORL racing we have done well over 300 official races. This does not include the dozens of unofficial races and tournys, and unofficial series.
300 races! That is not an exact count, my actual exact count was 305.
8 races in season 1, 26 races in season 2, 33 races in season 3, 79 races in season 4, and 87 races in season 5.
Im pretty sure I missed some of the season 3 races, as that season was complicated, with adding 2 MX divisions part way through the season, and I may have missed some of the EU races as well. So I guessed at some, and made a point to under estimate when I had to guess.
For season 6 if we count all the heat races, for all 3 series, and the LCQ, then add on the standard 11 race season for the secondary division, we are looking at 143 races!
This leads me to one undeniable conclusion... WE LOVE RACING! YEEEEE HAWWWW!
Oops I just realized I forgot to count the 3 race All Star tournament from last January. So that makes 308!
If anyone wants to go through the archives, and research it out, and get an exact official number. Perhaps when we get to out 500th race maybe we will do something special to celebrate the event.

Being the Professional Stalker I am, I have calculated the exact number of official races this league has completed! And I must say, there has definitely been alot of racing!  *Note: All heats, LCQs, and official tiebreakers are also included. *Qualifying races do not count as official races.* **Extra Note: The Season 2 MT2 Race on Quarry Superspeedway will be counted as two races as both of the races were averaged out to determine the winner. So much hostility in here, god damn.
I didn't even bother reading all of your long ass posts but I'm just gonna say that it makes more sense to count rounds instead of races, and not count tie-breakers, meaning that each week of rallycross or short tracks counts as one race instead of two to four. This way everything is kept uniform.

You guys are all NUTZ! I just sorta counted the divisions plus the number of races that season. Forgot to add the championships, forgot about rally cross, missed one of the seasons of EU races, took a nap to rest my brain, then added it all up on my fingers and toes. So I was off by 100 or so races. Big woop wana fight about it?
Or maybe I came up with a loose estimate, posted the idea, then I waited for some crazy bastards to come along and do the actual work for me.
I guess we will never know.
