On December 9th there is going to be a race playlist that will last for two weeks, followed by a rocket race playlist. This is pretty awesome, but at the same time I don't really care because the xbox one will already be out and I'll be busy playing all those new games. I'm also disappointed that it only lasts for two weeks. However, this does show that they acknowledge the existence of racing in Halo, so I guess I'll keep hoping for the next Halo to have a permanent race playlist. Or at least a race gametype. They will obviously be releasing an official Race Gametype for this as well

The sad thing is however that we will probably be racing mostly like doublewides and stuff

Yeah with people like Ducain as cartographers it will only be double-wides... And what is he talking about? Denying the fact that they don't listen to the community. After almost an entire year they potentially bring in the gametype and a playlist for two weeks. Like they made up for all of the things that the community wanted and they denied. Get the hell out. I like that they're finally doing it, but I could care less. It has been like 1 year. I'm probably going to prefer the modded gametype anyways, unless you have lap times.
