This submissions board is not for signups or advertising. It's here so you can post your idea and hope that we will let you run it.
If you have the desire to start up an Unofficial Tournament or Series, first you must know the following rules.
1- You MUST be able to show up to & host every race. No brainer.
2- All regular ORL rules will be in affect, unless stated otherwise. Series specific rules will only be in affect if applicable.
3- You will be expected to keep a race results & standings/winners thread updated within 24 hours of each race. Linking to a google doc spreadsheet is fine as long as you make it easy to find in all threads related to your tournament/series.
3a- Do not delete your thread or external document when your tournament/series is over. Notify me that it is over and I will move the thread to the ORL archives.
4- You must already be an ORL driver who is generally respected by the community.
5- You may not race in an event that you are hosting, unless given permission by myself or Darkstar.
6- If you are doing a tournament that requires brackets I would prefer that you use challonge.com/ for brackets, as it is much more simple, clean, and easy to read compared to something like google documents.
7- No spontaneous tournaments/series. All times and days must be clearly outlined in the thread at least five days before the tournament/series occurs.
8- No more than three separate days of racing per week per tournament/series.
9- You may hold no more than two seperate unofficial tournaments/series at a time.
10- If you have an idea for something unofficial that is outside of the norm (for example a forge challenge), then simply disregard any inappropriate sections of the submission form, and be as detailed as possible.
***If you cannot comply to the rules above, then do not request permission to host an Unofficial Tourney/Series. If I find that any of the rules have been broken during your tournament or series then it is subject to deletion without warning***
If you can follow the above however, then please copy and paste the below formatted text into a new thread, and answer all of the lines. Make sure to delete all the text that I put in brackets, that text is simply there to help you be as descriptive as possible.

What will happen once your tournament is submitted?
ACCEPTED: IF your idea is accepted your thread will be moved to the Unofficial Tourney/Series board and signups will be taken. You will be expected to update the signup list near daily, and atleast a week before the tourney/series starts you must send xbox live messages to everyone who signed up letting them know the exact times of races.
PENDING: This means we liked your idea but we are either still thinking about it or there are some things that need changing. If something needs changing we will get in contact and let you know why it hasn't been accepted just yet.
DECLINED: If your request to host an unofficial tournament/series is denied, then I'm sorry, but there was good reason for it.
