we move away from the drama at Silversrtone as Nico Rosberg triumphed for the 2nd time this season as we hit the halfway mark we go to The Nurburgring, Germany one of my favourite German tracks to drive on who will be the victor in Germany
Key Facts: There are 4 Germans on the grid for this years Grand Prix (Sebastian Vettel, Nico Rosberg, Adrian Sutil and Nico Hulkenberg) the same number as both Great Britain and France
The most recent German Grand Prix in 2011 saw Lewis Hamilton take the win with Fernando Alonso in 2nd and Mark Webber 3rd
Ferrari are the most overwhelming team when it comes to the Nurburgring, the Italian Team have won the Grand Prix 21 times, 11 more times than the next best team Williams
Fernando Alonso has the best record in Germany better than any current driver, The Spainiard has won the German Grand Prix 3 times, the same number of times as Juan Manuel Fangio, Jackie Stewart, Nelson Piquet and Aryton Senna he has also won twice at the Nurburgring (2005 and 2007) Mark Webber in 2009 and Lewis Hamilton in 2008 and 2011 are the only current drivers to have either won Germany or specifically at the Nurburgring
When it comes to Kimi Raikkonen at Germany its his most unluckiets country to race in of the 16 times he has race in Germany he has never won and has retired from 6 of the races
